Who are Home and Office Transitions and what should we know about you.
Home and Office Transitions is an established, locally owned, full-service moving company serving the Middle Tennessee area. We specialize in moving, packing, new home organizing, storage, furniture receiving, and interior design installations.
What is unique about your business & makes you stand out?
We are unique in that we handle all moving logistics and take care of all the various complications of relocation. Moving is very stressful, but we make it fun and easy! Commercial or residential, local or long-distance, we have the ability to troubleshoot and fulfill at a high level.
How do you stay involved in the community?
We stay involved in the community by funding scholarships, sponsoring high school athletics, and partnering with local non-profits.
How do you differ from your competition?
Home and Office Transitions takes a team approach, which has resulted in high employee retention over the years. Our clients love to see the same faces on a regular basis and have established relationships with our team in many cases. Part of building a team requires a consistent investment in our team. We have shunned the stigma that blue collar means less than white collar. In fact, our company offers just as many benefits and perks as the white-collar industries. We made it a mission to provide a higher-quality work environment, which is why we offer full benefits and a daily lunch stipend. By reinvesting in our team, we have nearly zero turnover, which enables us to keep our team synergy and project excellence at a high level.
What is your biggest goal for your company this year?
To connect with local leadership and local entrepreneurs that may be unaware of our ability to serve them and/or their clientele.
What’s your best piece of advice for other business owners?
Stay focused, and don’t let outside forces draw your focus away from your mission. With never-ending distractions and derailments in business and daily life, we must be intentional about our focus. Remembering why we became entrepreneurs and what we need to do to stay relevant.
