Trade & Exports
An Export Hub
With powerhouse international companies like Nissan, Bridgestone Americas, Volkswagen, LP Building Products, Gibson and FedEx calling Tennessee home, the state has grown into the 13th largest exporter in the nation -- especially impressive for a state without an ocean port. Statewide exports in 2016 totaled $31.5 billion, with the Nashville MSA accounting for $9.4 billion.
The Chamber’s international efforts connect our community to the world and business to opportunities for growth. We believe there is no better time than now for companies to expand and diversify their markets globally.
Export resources in Nashville:
The State of Tennessee and the Tennessee Small Business Development Center work with new-to-export and experienced exporters in partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Commercial Service Nashville.
