A REGION

Flourishes

through bold ideas, strategic planning, and collaboration,
where each person contributes their unique skills. The road is often unpredictable, but when a community unites with a shared vision, progress is fueled by collective strength. In the end, it’s not just about building a place, but creating a lasting legacy.

About The

Partnership

Partnership 2030 is the Nashville region’s public-private initiative for long-term economic prosperity. Founded in 1990, the Partnership drives job creation through relocating and expanding businesses, attracting and growing a talented and creative workforce, and developing and promoting quality of place and livability. Supported by more than 250 business and community investors, P2030 serves a ten-county region committed to the success of the Nashville region. The current five-year plan is co-chaired by Carol Yochem, President, First Horizon Bank Central Region and Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County Mayor Freddie O’Connell.

The Partnership

Strategy

Following a year-long period of research and community input, PARTNERSHIP 2030 engaged business, community, and economic development leaders across the region. The new strategy focuses on three interconnected strategic drivers: community vitality, community mobility,  and community character. Ultimately, economic development is about creating better opportunities for the people in our community.
To strengthen our Community Vitality, Partnership 2030 will focus on embracing our future as a leading technology hub and make housing more affordable.
To improve our Community Mobility, Partnership 2030 will focus on making good jobs accessible to more people through education and workforce solutions and improving regional mobility and connectivity.
To preserve and enhance our Community Character, it’s critical to remain good stewards of the region’s culture, advance the growth of the creative class, and maintain the vibrancy of the region’s urban core.
