On September 5, 2019, The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce announced Wanda Lyle, General Manager of the UBS Nashville Business Solutions Center, as the newly elected Chamber board vice chair.

“We are thankful that Wanda has agreed to serve the Nashville region as we continue to facilitate community leadership in order to create economic prosperity,” said Chamber President and CEO Ralph Schulz. “Middle Tennessee is in a pivotal time of growth and success and we look forward to continue leading the way in strengthening this dynamic region’s quality of life.”

A recognized leader in the financial services industry, Lyle oversees the UBS Business Solution Center’s operating model and associated service delivery. “I’m honored to be a part of the board as we continue to impact the prosperity of this region. Together, we are shaping our region’s prosperity. The region has become a top destination for talent, tourism and corporate investment creating capital investments through business relocations and expansions, all key factors in UBS’ expanding presence. We are committed to enhancing quality of life through transit and health improvements and paving the way through education advancements – all factors that contribute to the economic success of Middle Tennessee,” said Lyle. “Let’s continue this momentum.”

Lyle replaces outgoing board vice-chair Jim Schmitz who was elected to serve as secretary of the board for a one-year term beginning July 1.
