What’s the best thing about doing business in Middle Tennessee?

We love being in Tennessee. We interact with customers every day and the people of Tennessee have a special warmth you can’t find anywhere else since we are the Volunteer State. Our TN Territory marketer, Keosha Thomas, is a native and knows the market well.

Who is Recyclops Recycling Services and what should we know about you?

Recyclops is transforming the recycling industry with an innovative and more sustainable approach. We have a lower carbon footprint and have less waste than any other curbside recycling service.

What’s your biggest goal for your company this year?

We are looking to continue rapidly expanding and are excited about our new Nashville campaign rolling out later in Q2. Ultimately we wish to provide every home in America access to convenient, curbside recycling. As of right now only about 35% of recyclable waste is recycled in the U.S. We are looking to change that.

What best business practices did you learn in 2020 during the pandemic and what did you do to be creative?

Recyclops employees have always worked from home which allows us to be even more green and we also have found that, luckily, the pandemic hasn’t hindered people’s demand for recycling services. People are still willing to step up and be responsible with their waste, and we’ve loved to see it!

How do you stay involved in the community?

Recyclops sponsors many local events. One that we sponsored recently was the Tennessee Environmental Council’s Eco Challenge and the East Nash Holiday bashwhere we sponsored the ornament tree and provided Recyclops recycle water bottles to attendees. We love to get involved in the communities we serve. Recyclops also helps to bring jobs to the municipalities we operate in, so everyone’s a winner!
