Harkins Recognized for Leading New Client Growth for the agency’s Integrated Marketing Group
NASHVILLE, TENN., August 2023 – Today, independent marketing and communications firm FINN Partners announced the promotion of Joe Harkins to Partner, Integrated Marketing. The promotion recognizes Harkins for his overall leadership and contribution to growing the Integrated Marketing group for the Nashville office of the global agency.

Harkins joined FINN as senior vice president in 2021, with responsibilities for leading the day-to-day account management function for the IM clients in the Nashville office. Prior to joining FINN, he worked at Nashville-based GS&F Marketing Communications as an Account Director, leading a portfolio of B2B and B2C clients in the manufacturing, banking, and not-for-profit sectors. He also previously worked in account management for global agencies McCann-Erickson and Ogilvy & Mather and served in marketing leadership roles for two of Nashville’s largest regional banks.
During his integrated marketing career, Harkins has led strategic marketing programs for blue chip clients in a wide variety of sectors, including financial services, manufacturing, higher education, healthcare, professional services, sports and entertainment, retail, and nonprofit. He has directed strategic marketing relationships for over 20 banks and financial services companies, and his marketing work in sports and entertainment has included teams in the National Football League, the 1996 Summer Olympics, professional motorsports (NASCAR, Indy Racing League, CART, Formula 1), and Six Flags.
Harkins is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and served as a member of the Nashville Vanderbilt Club’s Board of Directors. He completed Executive Programs in Communications Strategy and Finance at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. A 2014 graduate of Leadership Brentwood, Harkins currently serves on the Board of Directors for Brentwood Green Space.
