RECAP: 2024 Governor's Address

Tennessee’s 50th Governor, Bill Lee, spoke to Middle Tennessee business leaders at the 2024 Governor’s Address presented by Frost Brown Todd Attorneys on March 22, 2024. The event was at Omni Hotels & Resorts and is hosted each year by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber welcomed Governor Bill Lee to share his vision for the state, including his legislative and budget priorities for the 113th General Assembly.

Governor Lee expressed his pride in Tennessee and commended the ongoing efforts of businesses and residents in making it one of the most attractive destinations in the country for living, working, and visiting. Mayor O’Connell, Former Mayor Purcell, and Governor Lee emphasized the effectiveness of collaboration between state, city, and regional leadership for the betterment of all.

Bill Lee is a seventh-generation Tennessean and the 50th Governor of Tennessee. He was raised in Franklin, where he still resides today with his wife, Maria, on his family’s farm.
