On October 21, the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce led a group of 20 business leaders to Fort Campbell, strengthening ties between companies in Middle Tennessee and the Fort Campbell community. This visit aimed to explore talent pipelines and deepen relationships, allowing business leaders to see firsthand the unique skills and experiences veterans bring to the workforce.
The day featured:
- A tour and demonstration by The Air Assault School
- Command briefings with Fort Campbell leadership
- An aerial tour of the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade
- Discussions with transitioning service members
- Engagement with the Transition Assistance Program, Career Skills Program, and Spouse Employment Center
Special thanks to Joshua Burch, the Chamber’s Military Liaison, for coordinating this impactful visit. We also want to acknowledge Fort Campbell for their recent support in Western North Carolina following Hurricane Helene, exemplifying their unwavering commitment to service. Over 500 soldiers from Fort Campbell’s 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), part of Task Force Falcon, were deployed. Working with FEMA, they distributed essential supplies, cleared emergency routes, provided medical care, and deployed aircraft to assist in affected areas.
