What has been the most valuable aspect of your Chamber membership? Here at Nashville International Airport (BNA) , partnerships and being part of a network of such remarkable companies and organizations is the most valuable component for our team.
Who is Nashville International Airport and what should we know about you? BNA is Music City’s gateway to the world. We provide the first and last impression of the city, and we work tirelessly to ensure it’s an enjoyable experience people will never forget.
What’s your biggest goal for your company this year? Our biggest goal of the year is to complete milestones of our BNA Vision plan toward its completion in the Fall 2023; to bring a world-class airport to a world-class city.
What best business practices did you learn in 2020 and what did you do to be creative? To say it in a few words: “Never be afraid to pivot to meet the growing demands of our passengers and fulfill business objectives.”
The pandemic brought many challenges and uncertainty in the aviation industry. We focused on creating strategies and implementing health and safety protocols throughout the airport to bring a sense of comfort to travelers during the pandemic period. We communicated our plan our website and social media. We saw our passenger volumes increase and received appreciation from passengers based on new programs.
How do you stay involved in the community? Giving back to the community comes naturally for the team at BNA and it reinforces our commitment to service. Each year, BNA sponsors a variety of community events across a wide spectrum of impactful organizations.
