Who is Staybridge Suites Nashville-Midtown and what should we know about you?
We are so excited to be the first Staybridge Suites to downtown Nashville! We are owned and operated by Tharaldson Hospitality Management which is a trusted and well-known hospitality company that keeps growing. During the pandemic, Tharaldson has opened 13 hotels and counting! The Staybridge brand, tailored to the extended stay guest, will compete well with the downtown market. This Staybridge is a flagship for the brand; we’ll have bigger suites, a new design, and a huge indoor/outdoor pool pavilion area that has never been seen before. Our complete focus is the satisfaction of our guests which is clear by the amenities that are included: Free Breakfast, Free drinks and bites, Free Laundry, Free shuttle, Free Wi-Fi, and Free storage closets. We have meeting space on the first floor. We’re an all-suite hotel and have a wide variety of studio, one-bedroom, and even two-bedroom suites. Each suite has a fully stocked kitchen, modern furnishings, extra bedding, plenty of room to move around, and we also have beautiful views of downtown!
What’s the best thing about doing business in Middle Tennessee?
There is a sense of community in Nashville that is unique for a city this size. There have been so many new hotels opening in the last 5 years, yet everyone has been so supportive of us, and wants to help us succeed. The community aspect is the southern charm of it all, if our business is successful, then Nashville is successful.
What is unique about your business that makes you stand out?
We’re part of an amazing area of Nashville (Charlotte Avenue between 21st and 22nd Ave) that is really coming into its own. We’re located where the old firehouse used to be and only 1 mile from the heart of downtown; close enough to get everywhere fun in Nashville, but not too close where downtown congestion is an issue. With the amount of land this hotel sits on it could’ve easily been a 300+ room hotel. Instead, we chose to make each of the 164 suites unique and authentic with each suite having more than enough room to feel comfortable. Offering variety is part of our brand promise. We will have a daily feature item every day at Breakfast to maintain the interest and satisfaction of our long-term guests.
What’s your biggest goal for your company in this year?
Our biggest goal for 2021 is to get as many people in the door as we can. We know restrictions will start to ease this year, so we’d love for more people to know what we’re all about and to visit and stay with us. We want to keep building relationships with local businesses and community leaders while building our brand, creating loyalty, and giving back in any way we can.
