Household income in Nashville has increased and our city is recognized as one of the best in the US for income equality, ranking 11th nationwide and 4th in the South. Moreover, the poverty rate in the Nashville Metropolitan Statistical Area has decreased. Despite these positive trends, our mission at the Chamber is to ensure that economic success is inclusive and shared by all residents.
